Course Overview:

Understand the mobility and its benefits

• Assist patients with ambulation activity

• Identify various types of positioning of a patient in a
  bed

• Assist patients with re-positioning them in a bed

• Understand the patient transfer processes

• Describe the various means of patient transfer

• Assist patients with various transfer procedures,
  including to and from ambulance, bed, stretcher and wheelchair

• Maintain safety and comfort of the patients as well as
  own safety during a transfer procedure
